DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SOLAR-POWERED MOBILE RECHARGEABLE FAN
Abstract
The development of a solar-powered mobile rechargeable fan addresses the growing demand for sustainable and portable cooling solutions. This project presents the design, implementation, and performance evaluation of a solar-powered fan system that integrates photovoltaic technology with energy storage and efficient cooling mechanisms. The fan is equipped with a compact solar panel capable of harnessing solar energy to charge an internal rechargeable battery, enabling operation in remote or off-grid locations. The system employs a high-efficiency brushless DC motor and aerodynamic blade design to optimize airflow and extend battery life. Performance metrics, including charging efficiency, battery longevity, and cooling effectiveness, are evaluated under varying environmental conditions. The results demonstrate that the solar-powered mobile fan provides a viable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional battery-operated fans, offering significant benefits in energy efficiency and sustainability. The findings highlight the potential for further advancements in portable renewable energy solutions for everyday use.
