Abstract

The study encompasses the anlysis of 10 Bima Standstone, in which both Petrographic and Geochemical study of the samples was conducted in the field laboratory. Using thin Section techniques and XRF Method. The Bima Stanstones were then studied under the polarizing microscope and they all revealed the presence of the following minerals, Quartz, Microcline, Altered Feldspar, Zircon, Iron Oxide, limonite and Orthoclase. The Geochemical Studies likewise of the study area extracted about 10 major element oxides which include: Sio2, Tio2 Al O, Fe2O3, MnO, MgO, CaO, Na20, K2O and P₂O5.
