DEPRODUCTION OF MALE KAFTAN WITH MONOGRAM DESIGN AS EMBELLISHMENT
Abstract
The study examined the production of male kaftan with monogram design a embellishment. The experiment was conducted in the studio of fashion design and clothing technology department, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku. The stah used descriptive and experimental research design. Various scientific procedens for garment construction were utilized in the production of male kaftans embellished with monogram designs. The study found that all scientific procedures (illustration design, pattern drafting, pattern layout and cuting, embellishment olded with assembling) were significant to the production of male kaftans embellished monogram designs, kaftans embellished with monogram designs were exhibited for public recognition through fashion shows.
