As some contend that agriculture is a precondition for industrialization, others strongly object it and argued for a different dimension. Using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS), the research was carried out using the secondary data analysis and using independent variables like Agricultural Growth (AGG), Unemployment Rate (UEMP), Inflation Rate (INF), Real Interest Rate (RIR) and Oil Rent (OIR) to re-examine the I impact of agriculture on economic growth in Nigeria. The result of the research shows that the productivity of agricultural sectors have positive impacts on the economic growth in Nigeria. ♦
