EFFECT OF ALUMINIUM IN COWPEA (VIGNA UNGUICULATA)

Abstract

Aluminium is one of the major heavy metals of environmental concern. The effect of aluminium on cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) was investigated using seed categories of white seed respectively. Parameters such as stem girth, leave number and the height were measured at each day for one month. The result therefore showed that aluminium has effect on the seedling growth of cowpea and also effect while eaten.
