Abstract

This study examines the antibacterial efficacy of mangifera indica leaf extract against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). phytochemicals screening was conducted to identify the phytochemical constituents, the results shows the alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, glycosides,and phenols.alsa the antibacterial activity was assessed using the agar wall diffusion method,the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC),and minimum bactericidal concentration (MCB)were also determined to evaluate the bactericidal efficacy of the extract.the results showed significant zones of inhibition and MIC/MBC values ranging from 25mg/mL
