This study "Assessment of Major Determinants of Voting Behaviour in Nigeria"aims to provide in-depth analysis on factors that influence voter behaviour in this research Throngh a comprehensive review of existing literature and empirical data, this research will evamine the critical factors influencing voter behaviour, such as: ethnicity,religion,social status. economuic status, poverty, unemployment, insecurity, political party affiliations, and candidate characteristics. Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, the study will assess the relative impact of these determinants on voter preferences and decision-making processes. It will also investigate how these factors may interact and influence each other in the context of the upcoming elections.The findings ofthis research are expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complexities of voting behaviour in Nigeria and provide insights for political strategists, policymakers, and election observers. Ultimately, the study seeks to enhance the transparency and integrity ofthe electoral process and contrihute to the strengthening ofdemocratic governance in Nigeria.
