Abstract

In a software-driven society, it has become a necessity for institutional systems in schools, such as restaurants, to adopt a software-driven QR code solution that not only enhances operational efficiency but also user convenience and experience. In response to the limitations of the traditional meal payment approach at Baze University restaurants, e.g., BRIM, this project introduces an automated and personalized way for students to carry out feeding. The system being developed includes a web application, employing agile methodology. This system provides a simple, user-friendly interface that allows students to carry out activities seamlessly, like paying for food items, viewing their balance, and peer-to-peer transfer. The system will also allow the admin to oversee activities that are being performed on the system, according to occurrences of certain events. The final aim of this system is not only to address the limitations of the traditional payment system at Baze University but also to integrate all restaurants and mini supermarkets within Baze University into a single ecosystem, all powered by software.
