CONSTRUCTION OF BENCH TOP POWER SUPPLY
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project focuses on the design and construction of a bench top power supply unit intended for use in electronics laboratories and prototyping environments. The power supply is capable of delivering multiple regulated DC voltage outputs, including 5V, 12V, and variable outputs up to 30V, with current limiting features for safety and precision. The design integrates a step-down transformer, rectifier, voltage regulators, and digital display modules to monitor voltage and current levels in real time. Emphasis was placed on efficiency, reliability, and user-friendly operation. The completed unit provides a cost-effective and versatile solution for powering a wide range of electronic devices and circuits, making it a valuable tool for students, hobbyists, and professionals alike.
