EFFECTIVENESS OF ADVERTISING IN ENHANCING COMPANY PROFITABILITY (A STUDY OF AMAECOM GLOBAL LIMITED, UYO)

ABSTRACT X This research work was on the "Effectiveness of Advertising in Enhancing Company Profitability". Asurvey method of research was used, the objectives of the study were to find out the advertising strategies used by Amaecom Company for a successful sales of products. To find out the extent to which advertising influence customers patronage of Amaecom Global Limited. To know the advertising media used by Amaecom Global Limited to enhance sales and profit. A population of eighty-four (84) was used as the sample size. The sampling technique used is thecensus sampling technique. The main instrument used for data collection was a self developed questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using tables and simple percentage. The findings revealed that advertising really have effect on awareness and successful marketing of Amaecom products. The study also revealed that media used by Amaecom for advertising in order to make sales and profit.The recommendation were that, advertisers should ensure that the qualities of the product are as good as what their advertising messages say;that both small and large scale manufacturers should employ advertising as a strong force in their attempt to market their product because the benefits of advertising will continually be enjoyed by the manufacturers who engage in advertising. That, advertisers should also try despite costs to make their advertisements run through several media to increase their chances of reaching the target audience largely.
