Abstract

The increasing global demand for sustainable energy solutions has spurred interest in bio-fuel production as an alternative to fossil fuels. This project focuses, on the design, development, and testing of a carbonizer and briquetting machine aimed converting agricultural waste into bio-fuel. The carbonizer efficiently converts biomass into charcoal through a pyrolysis process, while the briquetting machine compacts the resulting charcoal into high-density briquettes suitable for energy production. The objective of this project is to address the challenges of biomass waste management and energy shortage by creating a cost-effective, environmentally friendly system that can be easily adopted in rural and industrial settings. The systems performance was evaluated based on energy efficiency, fuel quality, and ease of operation. Result demonstrate that the carbonizer and briquetting machine can significantly reduced waste, improve energy efficiency, and offer a viable bio-fuel alternative for cooking, heating, and other applications. This project contributes to the growing body of work on renewable energy technologies and highlights the potential of bio-fuel production to promote sustainable energy practices.
