DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF PROTOTYPE FOUR WAYS TRAFFIC LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH COUNTDOWN INDICATOR AND NIGHT BACK UP STREET LIGHT FOR JUNCTION
Abstract
The increasing demand for efficient traffic management and street lighting systems has led to the development of intelligent transportation systems. This project aims to design and construct a traffic light control system with a countdown indicator and night backup street light for junction. The countdown indicator provides real time information to pedestrians and drivers, enhancing safety and reducing congestion. The night backup street light automatically adjust their brightness based on ambient light conditions, optimizing energy consumption. The proposed systems offers reliable, efficient, and adaptive solution for urban traffic management and street lighting, contributing to improved road safety and reduced energy waste.
