DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ALUMNI MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR FACULTY OF COMPUTING, NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY KANO
Abstract
Many alumni struggle to stay connected with their alma mater and fellow graduates due to the absence of an organized Alumni Management System. This project designs and implements an interactive web-based platform for the Faculty of Computing at Northwest University Kano. The system provides a reliable platform for information sharing, fostering seamless interaction and strengthening bonds between former students and the university. Developed using PHP and MySQL, it facilitates networking, mentorship, and collaboration through features like profile management, job postings, event management, and discussion forums. The successfully deployed system enhances alumni engagement and bridges the gap between academia and industry.
