Abstract

This project investigates the design and efficiency analysis of a 5.5kVA tubular battery inverter aimed at providing reliable power to support essential equipment in computer engineering laboratories. These laboratories rely on continuous power for critical machines and devices, such as CNC machines, desktops, laptops, digital trainer kits, and microcomputer interface trainers. Using Python for both design and simulation, this research evaluates the inverter’s performance under different load conditions and its capacity to sustain power across three laboratories: the Computer Technology Laboratory, Computer Studio, and Maintenance and Repair Workshop. Efficiency metrics, such as load handling, voltage stability, and power duration, are analyzed to determine the inverter’s ability to meet energy demands. Findings from this study offer insights into optimizing tubular battery inverters for high-demand laboratory settings, highlighting solutions to improve reliability and efficiency in power systems for engineering applications. The project contributes to resilient, sustainable energy solutions for critical laboratory operations. Keywords:Performance, optimizing, settings, interface, sustainable, evaluates, investigates
