DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A WIRELESS ROAD TRAFFIC LIGHT
Abstract
This study introduces a novel approach to traffic management through the design and construction of a microcontroller-based wireless traffic system. Leveraging the capabilities of the At89s52 controller alongside TWS-434 and TWR-434 wireless transmitter and receiver modules, the system offers an innovative solution for optimizing traffic flow and enhancing road safety. Key components include LEDs for visual signaling and the microcontroller for data processing and command execution. The wireless communication modules facilitate seamless connectivity between the microcontroller and peripheral devices, eliminating the constraints of physical connections and enhancing system flexibility. By prioritizing reliability, efficiency, and simplicity, this system presents a cost-effective and scalable solution suitable for various traffic management scenarios. Overall, this research represents a significant advancement in traffic control technology, with potential applications in urban planning, transportation engineering, and infrastructure development.
