Nigeria has consistently faced numerous developmental challenges that have hindered its progress toward sustainable economic growth. This study therefore investigates the impact of African Development Banks financing on economic growth in Nigeria. The study is guided by four research questions and four research objectives, and four research hypothesis. The study is anchored on modernization theory. The study used descriptive survey design, with a target population of 133 professionals and stakeholders who are knowledgeable about or directly involved in the implementation, supervision, or analysis of development financing in Nigeria. Using the Taro Yamane formula, a sample size of 100 respondents was determined for the study. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The findings revealed that the AfDB has played a substantial role in Nigeria’s development efforts through its consistent financing of national and sectoral projectsThe research also discovered that AfDB financing has positively influenced multiple economic sectors, particularly agriculture, infrastructure, health, education, and employment. The study recommended that; government agencies and implementing partners must adopt stricter anti-corruption frameworks, including independent audits and transparent procurement processes. The study further recommended that; there is a need to enhance the technical capabilities of public sector workers involved in AfDB-funded projects.
