DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A WIRELESS COMPUTER NETWORK (A CASE STUDY OF WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK)
Abstract
Wireless communication has become an essential part of modern computer networking due to the increasing demand for mobility, flexibility, and easy access to network resources. This project focuses on the design and implementation of a Wireless Computer Network using a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) as a case study. The study examines how wireless networking technology can be used to connect multiple computers and devices without the need for physical cables, thereby improving convenience and efficiency in data communication.
The project involves the planning, design, and practical implementation of a WLAN using wireless networking devices such as wireless routers, access points, and network interface cards. It also highlights the configuration procedures, security measures, and performance considerations required to establish a reliable wireless network.
