Abstract

ABSTRACT The practice of Nigerian public sector has been associated with financial impropriety, embezzlement, misuse and outright theft of public funds, earlier on it was of little consequences because those who should have done something against it are also busy enriching themselves and the general public came to believe that the wealth of Nigeria is endless. To this end this study was set to assess the effect of discipline on workers attitude in Kano State. The study aimed to find out the impact of disciplinary procedures on worker attitude in Public Complain and Anti-corruption Commission. From the research findings, it revealed that there is low awareness on the part of commission’s political officials, and the civil servant on economic values and standards contribute toward ethical administration in the commission administration. The study recommends that the public complaint and anti-corruption commission political officials should be oriented regularly on economic and standard. This will bring about ethical administration in the commission.
