A bus terminus is a designated facility where buses arrive, depart, and park between scheduled trips. It serves as a critical hub for public transportation, facilitating the movement of passengers and goods within
urban and intercity networks. The efficiency of a bus terminus significantly impacts traffic flow, commuter experience, and overall urban mobility.

The study also examines potential challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, overcrowding, and environmental concerns, while proposing solutions for sustainable and effective management.
Public transportation plays a crucial role in urban mobility, yet many bus termini face significant challenges that hinder their efficiency and effectiveness. Issues such as inadequate infrastructure, poor traffic
management, lack of proper passenger amenities, and congestion contribute to delays, discomfort, and safety concerns for commuters. Additionally, the absence of well-structured facilities can lead to disorganized bus
operations, increased environmental pollution, and economic inefficiencies.
The goal of designing the bus terminal is to create a peaceful, comfortable, and functional facility that ensures smooth accessibility and serve as a well-organized hub for managing interstate and interstate
transportation in the Adepetu Axis of Ondo state.
