DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE MEDICAL CARD GENERATOR
Abstract
This research focuses on the design and implementation of an Online Medical Card Generator System, using Al-Istiqama University Clinic as a case study. The aim of this project is to develop a computerized system that simplifies the process of patient registration and medical card generation, ensuring accuracy, speed, and data security. The study highlights the inefficiencies of the manual record-keeping system currently in use and proposes a web-based alternative that allows clinic staff to easily register patients, manage records, and generate digital medical cards instantly. The research adopts a structured methodology involving system analysis, design, implementation, and testing. PHP and MySQL were used as the core technologies for backend development, while HTML and CSS provided the frontend structure. The system was tested and found effective in managing patient data efficiently and generating medical cards without duplication or loss of information. The findings indicate that implementing such a system enhances operational efficiency, reduces errors, and improves patient data management at the clinic.
