FITTING A LOGISTIC REGRESSION MODEL ON THE EFFECT OF FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL AMONG HOUSEHOLDS IN JIGAWA STATE.
Abstract
This study focuses on fitting a logistic regression model to examine the effect of fuel subsidy removal among households in Jigawa State. The removal of fuel subsidy has significantly affected the economic condition of many households, influencing transportation costs, food prices, and general living standards.
The study applies logistic regression analysis to determine the relationship between fuel subsidy removal and its impact on household welfare. Data for the study were collected from selected households in Jigawa State using structured questionnaires.
The results of the analysis help in identifying the factors that significantly influence the level of impact experienced by households. The findings of the study provide useful information for policymakers and stakeholders in designing strategies to reduce the negative effects of fuel subsidy removal on households.
