DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A STORAGE CLOUD FACILITY
Abstract
The project was made with the aim to design and implement an enhanced cloud storage system as a focal point of solving cloud storage related issues with the use of web based application. One application of an online cloud storage system is in the safe storage and management of user data and files, as well as organizing user files and storing them in categories in order to aid in securing easy file accessibility and sharing. Development of the work includes the construction of the core system framework, user account creation and management, user profile design and integration of user file manager. The tools used in the implementation of this system are Hyper text Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JavaScript, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), JQuery, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), MYSQL.
