Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study investigates the Effect of Entrepreneurial Education on Reducing Unemployment Among Nigerian Students. A survey design was employed and purposive sampling technique was used to select participants for this study, Hundred (100) respondents served as the sample size of the study. The responses to the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics and frequency table. The study found that there is significant increase in students' confidence regarding their ability to secure employment or start a business after completing entrepreneurial education. The study concludes that Entrepreneurial education not only enhances students' confidence and employability but also equips them with essential skills for starting and managing businesses. Based on the empirical findings, the study recommends that the National University Commission should review and reform their entrepreneurial education curricula to focus more on hands-on, practical skills. While theoretical knowledge is important, students should be given more opportunities to engage in real-world projects, internships, and collaborations with businesses.
