Qualitative data were analysed thematically and reported by quoting verbatim, some responses of the respondents were reported. On the other hand, quantitative data were analysed using the SPSS and the result were reported in simple percentage and hypotheses tested with correlation. Findings reveal that economic instability, education level, and changing gender roles significantly contribute to the rising divorce rate in AMAC. This study recommended the need for adequate counselling to spouses and support from the government in terms of providing employment opportunities for spouses to ensure a peaceful home.
