Abstract

This study investigates the use of podcasts among students at Borno State University (BOSU) and the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID). It aims to compare the frequency of podcast usage, the reasons behind their adoption, and the satisfaction students derive from them. Additionally, the research examines and contrasts the challenges faced by students in both institutions while exploring the broader implications of podcast usage on their academic and social lives. Data for the study was collected using a combination of surveys and interviews to ensure a comprehensive analysis. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights into the role of podcasts in learning and personal development, highlighting their potential as a tool for education and entertainment in tertiary institutions. This research will contribute to understanding the dynamics of podcast usage among students and offer recommendations for enhancing their experience.
