ABSTRACT
This study fund out of effei of working capital management on cooperative efficiency. The design chosen for this study is survey design. A survey method was used to this study. The population consist of entire Male and Female members of AKTH -multi-purposecooperative society limited. The total population used of the study is 2,209 and simple size is 60. The research question what are the effect of working capital on cooperative efficiency. The aim effective and efficient working capital management is to ensure growth in the firm, increase in size, enhance the liquidity to firms as well as an optimal leverage. Result showed that there is a significant effect of working capital management of their Cooperative activities. This study has very much contributed to knowledge especially as it relates to the Nigerian situation. The used modified models produced results which agreed with other studies. It was recommended among others that Cooperative Societies should ensure an effective monitory and evaluation of financial data through regular auditing of Cooperative business.
