Abstract

Traditional voting systems often face challenges such as long queues, potential for fraud, and limited accessibility. This project aims to address these issues by designing and implementing a secure and user-friendly electronic voting (e-voting) system. The proposed system will leverage technology to streamline the voting process, enhance security, and increase voter participation.Key features of the system include secure online voter registration, electronic ballot generation and distribution, a user-friendly online voting interface, automated vote counting and aggregation, and secure publication of election results. The system will incorporate robust security measures, such as encryption, authentication, and intrusion detection, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of votes. The system will be designed with a focus on user experience, including accessibility features for voters with disabilities. A rigorous testing process will be conducted, including usability testing, security testing, and pilot elections, to ensure the system's reliability and effectiveness. The successful implementation of this e-voting system has the potential to improve the efficiency, security, and accessibility of the electoral process, increase voter participation, and enhance public trust in democratic institutions. This abstract provides a concise overview of the project's goals, key features, methodology, and potential impact.
