AUTOMATED EVENT PLANNING AND CATERING SYSTEM FOR MEENAH EVENT CENTER
Abstract
Abstract
The Meenah Event Center Event Management System is a web-based application designed to digitize and streamline event planning, booking, guest registration, ticketing, and payment tracking processes currently performed manually at Meenah Event Center. Traditional manual methods often result in delays, miscommunication, security risks, and inefficient data management. This project aims to develop a user-friendly platform using PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, following the Agile methodology. Key features include venue booking, administrator approval workflows, digital gatepass generation, guest navigation support via Google Maps, and a centralized database for secure data storage. The system is expected to significantly reduce booking time, enhance security through unique digital tickets, improve payment tracking accuracy, and provide a seamless experience for administrators, event planners, and guests. By offering a customized, cost-effective solution tailored to Meenah Event Center's specific needs, this project demonstrates the transformative potential of digital event management systems for small-to-medium-sized enterprises, serving as a scalable model for similar businesses seeking operational efficiency and improved customer satisfaction.
