The research work, title “Role of Information and Communication Technology in Education”, a case study of Borno State University, Department of Education. The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education plays a crucial role in transforming traditional teaching and learning processes. This study aims to explore the various objectives and benefits in incorporating ICT in educational settings. It highlight the how ICT enhances the effectiveness of teaching and learning by providing access to a wealth of digital resources , fostering digital literacy , and enabling innovative teaching methods. Additionally ICT, promotes collaboration, supports personalized learning experiences, and improve educational outcomes.
