DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SIGNAL ENCODING AND DECODING TRAINER SYSTEM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Signal encoding is the process of organizing data into a form suitable for transmission along the communication medium, signal decoding is the process of changing received data into a form suitable for subsequent information process. This is important in telecommunication system due to the need to transmit and receive multiple data from multiple transmission/reception stations using the one frequency band but different address bit. Digital signal encoding and decoding trainer system is a device that teaches the student the process of the of signal encoding and decoding using address bit to send and receive data wirelessly to two or more receiving stations from one transmitting station on one frequency band but different address bit, the device utilizes an HT12E and HT12D encoder and decoder integrated circuit, a 433MHz transmitter and receiver module, some toggle switches for address bit selection and some light emitting diode for data output indication.
