DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE KITCHEN UTENSIL STORE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CASE STUDY OF HALAL KITCHEN UTENSIL HUB)
Abstract
This project presents the design and implementation of an Online Kitchen Utensils Store Management System developed using the Django web framework. The system was created to simplify the process of purchasing kitchen utensils by providing a convenient online platform that connects customers with sellers. Traditional methods of utensil shopping are often limited by time, location, and product availability; hence, this system was designed to improve efficiency, accessibility, and user satisfaction. The system was developed using Python (Django) for the backend, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and SQLite/MySQL for the database. It includes modules for user registration, product catalog, shopping cart, checkout, and administrative management. The development followed a structured software engineering methodology to ensure security, scalability, and maintainability. The project demonstrates how Django’s model–view–template (MVT) architecture can be effectively applied to build reliable e-commerce solutions. The result is a responsive, user-friendly, and secure online platform that enhances the retail experience for both customers and administrators.
