Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study examines ‘’A HISTORY OF ADHAMA TEXTILE IN KANO, 1977 TO 2024. The
sources used in the study include oral interviews and written documents. The interviews were
conducted in Hausa as a medium of communication. Adhama Textile and Garment Industry
limited is an Indigenous textile and garment manufacturing company located at kano. The
company was established between April 1977 to December 1978 and commenced full operational
activities in January 1979. The company is one of the key garments industries in the 80s that
provide huge job opportunities for youth and this effort of the job creation; textile and garment
production by company has sustained despite numerous challenges faced by the textile and
garment sector in the Nigeria
