Abstract

Abstract Thisstudyinvestigates the annual trend ofmalariafevercasesfrom2018to2024, withafocuson gender-based analysis. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and linear regression were applied to determine if there is a significant difference in infection rates based on gender, and to forecast future trends. The findings revealed a fluctuating pattern in malaria cases over the years, with a general increase toward the later years. The ANOVA result indicated no statistically significant difference between male and female malaria cases A linear regression model showing a steady increase from 2025 to 2028. This research underscores the importance of sustained public health efforts. The study recommends improved malaria control measures, including effective sanitation practices, public awareness campaigns, and equitable health interventions for both genders.
