THE EFFECT OF TAX REVENUE ON THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY

ABSTRACT. This research work determined the availability of laboratory facilities for effective teaching and learning of agricultural science in junior secondary school in Maiduguri Metropolis, Borno state. The study are: determined the availability of agricultural science teachers on the junior secondary school, determine the level of agricultural facilities in junior secondary school, determine the influence of agricultural science laboratory facilities in junior secondary school and determine the effect of lac of lack of laboratory facilities on teaching agricultural science in junior secondary school. The population for this study were all secondary schools in Maiduguri metropolis and five (5) schools are selected as sample, the study used checklist and questionnaire as an instrument in collecting data for the study. The data were analyzed using frequency count and percentage The study revealed the following findings are: the study find out that there is no effect of the availability of agricultural science teachers, the study find out that there is moderate level of agricultural science facilities, the study also discovered the influence of agricultural science laboratory facilities and the study find out that there is significant effect of lack of laboratory facilities in teaching and learning In view of the findings of the study, the following recommendations were made the government has to recruit more teachers in teaching and learning agricultural science, and the government has to provide some facilities in teaching and learning agricultural science in junior secondary school in Maiduguri, Borno state.
