Abstract

This project report outlines the design and construction of an automated, optimized, and eco-friendly power generator. The generator leverages Arduino-based automation to handle load shedding and optimize power generation using renewable energy sources. Traditional power generation systems rely heavily on fossil fuels, contributing to environmental degradation. In response, this project aims to create a sustainable alternative through a fuel-less generator that is powered by a DC motor and an alternator. Key components, such as a step-down transformer, rectifier, and battery, support energy conversion and storage, while Arduino controls the system to ensure efficiency and reliability. The project methodology integrates a step-down transformer to convert AC to DC, powered by a DC motor to drive the alternator and generate power. With an emphasis on eco-friendliness, this generator can potentially reduce dependence on fossil fuels for small-scale applications like residential and off-grid power needs. The study concludes with a series of tests to evaluate efficiency and reliability, recommending further enhancements in scale and material for broader applicability in the quest for a greener energy infrastructure.
