Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient healthcare services has necessitated the development of automated systems to manage hospital operations. This project presents the design and implementation of a healthcare appointment scheduling system using General Hospital as a case study. The system aims to replace the traditional manual scheduling method, which is often characterized by long waiting times, poor record management, and inefficiency. The proposed system allows patients to book appointments online, view doctor availability, and receive notifications. The system was developed using modern programming tools and database management techniques. Results show improved efficiency, reduced waiting time, and better patient satisfaction. The study concludes that implementing such systems significantly enhances healthcare service delivery.
