ONLINE EVENT HALL BOOKING SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF RUNIC HOTEL)

ABSTRACT This research work focused on development of an online event booking system USING Runic Hotel in Ikot Ekpene as a case study. The research work was necessary because of the problems identified in the existing system such as lack of database to register event hall bookings, conflicts in event hall booking due to lack of online event hall booking system. In view of solving these problems, the objectives are to create a system that can be used to register event hall bookings to database, to design a system that can be used to easily process and verify event hall booking information and too create a system that enables customers to submit bookings online. The significance of the study is it will serve as a management information system (MIS) to the management of the case study as it regards event hall booking. The design methodology used is Object Oriented Analysis and Design and the programing technologies used are HTML, CSS, PHP and MYSQL.
