DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTERISED EMPLOYEE STAFF CONTACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
The management of employee contact information is an essential aspect of organizational administration. Many organizations still rely on manual methods of storing and managing staff contact records, which often result in data redundancy, loss of information, difficulties in retrieval, and reduced operational efficiency. This study focuses on the design and implementation of a computerized Employee Staff Contact Management System aimed at improving the management of employee contact details within an organization.
The system was developed to provide a centralized database for storing, updating, retrieving, and managing employee contact information efficiently. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and review of existing record-management procedures. The system was designed using modern software development methodologies and implemented with a user-friendly interface to facilitate easy access and management of staff records.
The computerized system enables administrators to add, edit, delete, and search employee contact records quickly and accurately. It also incorporates security features such as user authentication and access control to protect sensitive employee information. The implementation of the system minimizes errors associated with manual record keeping, enhances data integrity, improves communication, and increases organizational productivity.
The results of the study demonstrate that the computerized Employee Staff Contact Management System provides a reliable, secure, and efficient solution for managing employee contact information. The study concludes that the adoption of computerized contact management systems can significantly improve administrative operations and support effective decision-making within organizations.
