Abstract

ABSTRACT By automatically identifying abnormal temperatures and the presence of dangerous gases within the home environment, the Smart Home System with Temperature Detection and Gas Sensor using LCD Display is intended to improve environmental monitoring and home safety. The system uses a gas sensor (like MQ-2) to identify the presence of toxic or flammable gases like carbon monoxide, methane, or LPG, and a temperature sensor (like DHT11) to continuously monitor room temperature. A microcontroller (such as an Arduino Uno) processes the sensed data and shows the real-time readings on an LCD screen for the user's awareness.
