Abstract

Design: The study utilized a descriptive survey design. Sample Size: A total of 200 participants (100 Muslim youth and 100 parents) selected via multi-stage stratified and simple random sampling techniques. Core Findings:Youths highly value Islamic knowledge, driven primarily by parental encouragement and religious duties. Financial constraints and a lack of learning centers serve as major structural obstacles for parents. Parents generally prioritize secular formal education over traditional Islamic schooling due to socio-economic demands. The most recommended strategy is the integration of Islamic knowledge with formal secular education.
