DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN AUTOMOBILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (AMS): A CASE STUDY OF JARMAI MOTORS.
Abstract
This research presents the design and implementation of an Automobile Management System (AMS) for Jarmai Motors, a service provider in Kano, to automate traditionally manual operations such as customer registration, service booking, and emergency requests. Traditionally, the company relied on paper records and phone calls, resulting in operational inefficiencies, scheduling errors, slow emergency response times, and difficulties in tracking customer histories. This study investigates how automation can improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service delivery. The system's functionalities include user authentication, service scheduling, and real-time emergency request handling. Results show that the AMS significantly reduces manual errors, improves service booking efficiency, and provides real-time updates to both customers and staff.
