Abstract

ABSTRACT This project presents the design and implementation of a Local Area Network (LAN) using one router, two switches, and twenty computers. The network was configured with static IP addresses and tested using the ping command to ensure proper communication. The results showed successful connectivity with zero packet loss, confirming a stable and reliable network. The study demonstrates that proper switch and router configuration improves network efficiency and serves as a practical guide for small laboratory and office networks.
