DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MOBILE APPLICATION BUDGET FINANCE TRACKER WITH PREDICTIVE CAPABILITIES
Abstract
This research presents the design and implementation of a budget finance expense tracker mobile application, Expense Tracker, leveraging React Native, TypeScript, and Firebase Database. The application aims to empower individuals to manage their finances effectively by providing a user-friendly platform for tracking expenses, creating personalized budgets, and setting financial goals.
Utilizing React Native, the application ensures cross-platform compatibility, high performance, and effortless maintenance. TypeScript enhances code quality, scalability, and developer productivity, guaranteeing a maintainable and efficient codebase. Firebase Database facilitates real-time data synchronization, seamless scalability, and robust authentication mechanisms.
The application features automated expense tracking, categorization, and budgeting, as well as data visualization and capabilities. Users can set financial goals, receive real-time notifications, and export data for further analysis. Implementing Firebase Authentication ensures secure user management, while Firebase Cloud Functions enable server-side logic and automation.
Through a descriptive analysis, this research highlights the application's architecture, design decisions, and implementation details. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of integrating React Native, TypeScript, and Firebase in developing a robust, scalable, and user-centric mobile financial application.
