SMART TO-DO LIST AND DIGITAL DIARY FOR MANAGING ACADEMIC CALENDER INSTABILITY
Abstract
Effective record-keeping is a critical component of organizational efficiency, accountability, and decision-making. Many institutions still rely on manual or poorly structured record-keeping methods, which often lead to data loss, duplication, slow retrieval of information, and security challenges. This project focuses on the design and implementation of a record-keeping management system aimed at improving the storage, retrieval, processing, and security of records within an organization. The proposed system is designed using a structured systems development approach, including system analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. It provides a centralized database that allows authorized users to create, update, search, and manage records efficiently. The system incorporates user authentication, access control, data validation, and backup features to enhance data integrity and confidentiality. Implementation of the system was carried out using appropriate programming tools and database technologies to ensure reliability, scalability, and ease of use. The developed record-keeping management system significantly reduces paperwork, minimizes errors, improves information retrieval speed, and enhances overall operational efficiency. The system is recommended for adoption in organizations seeking to modernize their record management
