ANALYSING THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN IMPLEMENTING AI SOLUTIONS IN REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT IN ABUJA
Abstract
This study analysed the challenges and opportunities in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in real estate investment in Abuja. The research aimed to evaluate the current level of AI adoption, identify major challenges hindering its implementation, assess potential opportunities, and propose strategies for enhancing adoption. A mixed-methods approach was adopted, combining quantitative data from 100 structured questionnaires with qualitative insights from semi-structured interviews.
Findings revealed that while AI adoption is growing, its integration into real estate investment practices in Abuja remains uneven. Common applications include AI-driven property valuation, predictive analytics, virtual tours, and chatbots. High implementation costs, limited technical expertise, inadequate infrastructure, and unclear regulatory frameworks emerged as the most significant challenges. However, opportunities such as improved investment analysis, enhanced customer experience, better risk assessment, and reduced operational costs were identified.
The study recommends increased AI awareness and training, collaborative partnerships with technology firms, government incentives, infrastructure upgrades, and the establishment of clear regulatory policies to promote sustainable adoption.
