AN INTEGRATED FOOD E-COMMERCE AND FOOD SURPLUS MANAGEMENT PLATFORM
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project presents the design and implementation of a web-based Food E-Commerce and
Surplus Food Management System aimed at addressing two critical challenges within the food
service industry: the need for a unified digital platform for ordering food from multiple restaurants,
and the persistent issue of surplus food wastage. The system enables restaurants to upload both
regular and surplus meals, allowing customers to browse, filter, and purchase meals online at
affordable prices. Surplus meals are displayed at discounted rates and delisted upon expiration to
ensure safety and freshness.
