EFFECTS OF LARGE CLASS SIZE ON STUDENTS ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN SOME SELECTED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN GWALE LGA KANO STATE
Abstract
This study was designed to investigate the effects of large class size on students academic
selected junior secondary schools in Gwale local Government area. Based on the findings of the
instrument used for data collection was a structured questionnaire. The data collected were
class size can affect students academic performance, students Regularity and punctuality in some
analyzed using simple mean. Findings among others revealed that it also suggests that effects of
performance in some selected junior secondary schools in Gwale local Government area, Kano
State. Three research questions were raised to guide the study. The study used the descriptive
survey research design method. The population of the study consisted of 50 student both males
and females respectively. A sample of fifty 50 was selected through random sampling. The
study, some recommendations were made.
