DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MODERN MARRIAGE REGISTRATION SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF JIGAWA STATE)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This project, titled “Design and Implementation of Modern Marriage Registration
System,” is aimed at developing a digital platform that automates the process of marriage
registration, verification, and certificate issuance for Jigawa State. The system enables
applicants to register online, upload necessary documents such as premarital clinical test
results, and provide personal and parental information.
Registrars can verify, approve, or reject applications and issue digital certificates through
an integrated database-driven web system.
The project was developed using Python Flask Framework, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
and SQLite database, ensuring efficiency, security, and data integrity.
This system simplifies marriage registration processes, enhances record management, and
reduces paperwork, delays, and data duplication found in manual systems.
