Abstract

The Car Rental Management System (CRMS) is a web-based application developed to simplify and automate the process of renting and managing cars. Using God Is Good Motors (GIGM) as a case study, this project provides a digital platform that connects customers and administrators in a transparent, efficient, and user-friendly manner. The system enables customers to search, reserve, rent, and return vehicles seamlessly, while administrators can manage vehicle inventory, monitor reservations, and process returns through an integrated dashboard. It was developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on a XAMPP local server environment. Findings from the study reveal that automation reduces manual workload, eliminates redundancy, and enhances customer satisfaction. The system demonstrates how information technology can improve operational efficiency in the transportation and car rental industry. The research concludes that implementing a car rental management system offers a sustainable, scalable, and reliable solution for managing vehicle rental services.
