BUKFEED AN ONLINE NEWS PLATFORM FOR BAYERO UNIVERSITY KANO
Abstract
The BUKFeed project is an online news platform designed specifically for Bayero University Kano (BUK) to help students, faculty, and staff stay updated with the latest news and events within the university. The platform allows users to access important announcements, academic news, campus events, and other relevant information in one central location.
The aim of this project is to create an easy-to-use and interactive platform that improves communication and helps university members access the information they need quickly. The main objectives include providing a space for users to submit news, enabling students and staff to view and comment on posts, and ensuring secure access based on different user roles like administrators, faculty, and students.
For the development of this platform, we used web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. These tools helped us create a responsive and secure system that is easy to navigate and manage. We also focused on ensuring the platform can handle large amounts of data and traffic, while keeping the user experience smooth.
In conclusion, the BUKFeed platform will improve communication within the university by making important news and updates easily accessible to all users. The system is secure, user-friendly, and designed to support the growing needs of the university community.
